Why do you fast? Is it to please God? Hopefully that answer is yes. But Pastor Reid reminds us that pleasing God in your fast is literally not what it looks like. While the temptation is to display what we do when we fast and make a statement before others, we are reminded that the power of fasting lies within the posture of humility found in fasting unseen.
